What is the PTO?
It is a Parent Teacher Organization established to promote the welfare and educational, vocational, and character development of children who attend the Colony Meadows Elementary School and to develop and maintain a forum for parents, teacher, and citizens within the community interested in the advancement of those purposes. The PTO shall not attempt to direct the administration or policies and activities of the School. The PTO and its Board members and officers shall not endorse a candidate for public office or commercial enterprise.
The organization is organized exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
