We love our volunteers!
CME Families,
Welcome to CME or welcome back to our returning Tigers! Our theme this school year is building Excellence Together! Our VIPS team is looking forward to a wonderful 2024-2025 school year and we need your help to make it an extra special one for our children and the Colony Meadows community.
Volunteers are the backbone of CME, and every little thing you do is appreciated and needed.
Our Volunteers In Public Schools or VIPS Committee helps to facilitate programs and events that require parent volunteers throughout the school year. CME has a very active parent volunteer program with many ways to help, both at school and from home. Our parent volunteers are one of the reasons why CME is one of the best schools in the district! VIPS has several layers of support, starting with your Grade Level Coordinator (GLC). Each grade has a GLC who works with Room Representatives from each class to act as a liaison between the class, parents, and the PTO. Below you will see your student's GLC. If you have any questions about grade-level activities or you would like to help volunteer for a specific grade-level event, feel free to reach out using the Konstella App OR your GLC's email.
Communication this year will be entirely delivered through the Konstella App.
If you missed the opportunity to sign up at Meet the Teacher, please use the QR code copied here. Select your child(s) teacherlclass to complete
your registration. Once registered, please take a look at what fun volunteer opportunities and committees that are available so you can get involved. We have opportunities BIG and SMALL, and we hope there is an area of volunteering that is RIGHT for YOU!
If you have any questions please contact us at [email protected]. We want everyone to feel comfortable volunteering here at CME and look forward to meeting you all soon!

Room Reps Needed!
Are you interested in volunteering to be a representative for your child’s classroom this year? Then log into Konstella and visit our “Committees” tab! There you will find a “Room Representative” section and it’s as easy as selecting your grade level and clicking “sign up”. Volunteers for this position are responsible for communicating with the class, coordinating the 2 holiday parties, as well as assisting in other classroom and grade-level support. Room Reps will be assigned soon, so don’t wait to sign up! If you haven’t registered for Konstella yet, you can do so here. If you have any questions, please email [email protected].
